Our Close the Gap Story

Close the Gap is a social justice " peoples " campaign that was launched in April 2007 . The Campaign was launched following Professor Tom Calma’s 2005 Social Justice report which emphasised health as a human right. And the signing of the “Statement of Intent” with the Australian Government.

National Agreement on Closing the Gap

The 2020 National Agreement on Closing the Gap (National Agreement) is a strategy that aims to improve the life outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Close the Gap Day resources for schools

Our school resources have been produced to assist teachers integrate National Close the Gap Day in the classroom and address learning outcomes.
